Marloth Park Birds

Waking-up to the distinct call of the Fish Eagle soaring over the Crocodile River is one of Manzini Properties greatest charms. The Fish Eagle cry is but one of the over 500 different bird species that Manzini Properties and surrounding areas play homage to. All these bird species have been identified in this nature conservation area.

Manzini is said to be a bird watchers paradise.

The variety of birds you can see within Marloth Park will make anyone fall in love with bird-watching, don’t forget your binoculars on your next visit as bird watching is a perfect hobby to have when on vacation or weekend getaways. The abundance of bird-species in and around Marloth Park are majestic, such as the different types of Eagles, Falcons, Ravens, Storks, Owls and Vultures. The African Fish Eagle and the Bateleur are of the most attractive birds of prey that is regularly spotted between the Kruger National Park and Marloth Park. The Martial Eagle is often seen as well, even though they prefer more mountainous areas. There are many more to be see with a list of over 500 bird types, some are not to be found anywhere else in South Africa.
